  Daughter Carrie’s death certificate provides name as John Henry. Other death certificates of children have either William Henry or just Henry. This individual went by Henry in life. There is a death certificate for “a” W. H. Walker in 1913 in Mecklenburg Co., NC, but this is NOT the same individual as this Henry Walker who was enumerated as a widower with several of his children still at home in the 1920 Caswell Co. census. Henry Walker (10) was enumerated with Frances Walker (45), James (22), Hugh (20), Baszala (17), Frances (13), and Cornelia (12) in the 1870 Caswell Co. census. James Reagan (20, boarder) was enumerated in the 1910 Wake Co. household of Henry & Harriet [Ragan] Walker and their family. He married their daughter, Betty, in 1911. Another boarder, Tillett Cates (49), married Katie Walker, also in 1911. Henry W. Walker (52, widowed) was enumerated in the 1920 Caswell Co. census with John (26), Andrew (22), Henry (20) and Carrie (17). Daughter Katie Cates (28) was living next door with her family.
